John Barry McKeown Sr.
John Barry McKeown Sr. died Jan. 16, 2002, at age 65.
Mr. McKeown was born Feb. 1, 1936, in Lumber City, Penn., and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After moving to Portland in 1965, he worked for Portland Wire and Iron and Electronic Specialty Co. and was a manufacturing engineer for Boeing for 25 years, retiring in 1995. In 1961, he married Ruth Sharadin.
Survivors include his wife; son, John B. McKeown Jr.; daughter, Molly Gasquet; and sisters, Mary Jo Mandel and Leah Quarry.
