| Dorothy Lucille McLeod The angels came for Dorothy on Sept. 30, 1998, after a lengthy decline in her health. Dorothy was born to Ida Mae O'Neal Fields McReynolds on July 26, 1912 in Kansas City, Missouri. Most of her life was spent in Tacoma where she married William J. McLeod, who preceded her in death. Dorothy was a devoted mother to her sons, William Jr. and Marshall (Linda), both of Tacoma. She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren, Scott (Jerale), Douglas, Randall (Kelli), Greg, Laurie McLeod and Christina (Mark) Sellai of Nevada. Dorothy also has several great-grandchildren, Valerie, Bryon, Brittany, Katelyn and Chelsea. She is further survived by her brother, Carl Fields of Seattle, sister-in-law Clara McLeod of Tacoma, and numerous nieces and their families. For many years, Dorothy was an avid bridge player and loved bingo. She was a member of the Telephone Company Pioneers. The family extends their appreciation to the Park Rose Care Center for their help and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Patrick S.
