Dorothy Lucille McLeod

The angels came for Dorothy on Sept. 30, 1998, after a lengthy
decline in her health. Dorothy was born to Ida Mae O'Neal Fields
McReynolds on July 26, 1912 in Kansas City, Missouri. Most of her
life was spent in Tacoma where she married William J. McLeod, who
preceded her in death. Dorothy was a devoted mother to her sons,
William Jr. and Marshall (Linda), both of Tacoma. She enjoyed visits
from her grandchildren, Scott (Jerale), Douglas, Randall (Kelli), Greg,
Laurie McLeod and Christina (Mark) Sellai of Nevada. Dorothy also
has several great-grandchildren, Valerie, Bryon, Brittany, Katelyn and
Chelsea. She is further survived by her brother, Carl Fields of Seattle,
sister-in-law Clara McLeod of Tacoma, and numerous nieces and their
families. For many years, Dorothy was an avid bridge player and loved
bingo. She was a member of the Telephone Company Pioneers. The
family extends their appreciation to the Park Rose Care Center for their
help and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the
Patrick S. McLeod Memorial Fund at the Fircrest Columbia Bank.
Graveside service to be held at Mountain View Memorial Park on
