| Charles B. McFail Charles B. McFail, 79, of Tacoma, died November 1, 1998. He was born April 16, 1919 in Pittsburgh, PA, and was a 50 year Tacoma resident. Charlie was a member of Fairweather Masonic Lodge No. 82 (formerly Destiny Lodge No. 197) and a Past Deputy of the Grand Lodge of Washington. He retired from the City of Tacoma in 1980 as Right of Way Supervisor and was an Army veteran of WWII, serving in the 63rd Armored Infantry Battalion in the European Theater. He was married Dec. 21, 1947 to Leona Mae Bell, who preceded him in death on November 14, 1994. Survivors include his brother, Robert McFail of Tampa, Florida. Graveside services will be at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 240th St. SE, Kent, WA, on Monday, Nov. 9th at 3:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, 7:45 p.m. at the Tacoma Scottish Rite, 817 So.
