| A memorial service for Carl R. McConnell will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3rd at Windsor Pointe Assisted Care Center, 9802 48th Dr. NE, Marysville, Wash. Reverend Marilyn Kalshian of St. Paul United Methodist Church will officiate. |
| Mr. McConnell was born February 27, 1915 in Greenfield, Missouri and died January 25, 2001 in Pullman, Wash. He was a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for 42 years. Mr. McConnell and his wife of 59 years spent his working years in Pocatello, Idaho, retirement years in Sequim, Wash. and the last two years in Marysville, Wash. Mr. McConnell was a 50-year member of the Masonic Order, an avid golfer during retirement and a professional baseball player (pitcher) in his younger years. |
| He was loved by all who knew him and he is survived by his wife, Jeanette; daughter, Jackie McConnell-Feil and her husband Mike of Asotin, Wash; daughter, Jeanie McConnell of Pullman, Wash; granddaughter, Kelly Carlson-Reddig, her husband Tom and their children, Nathan and Zoe of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandson, Gary Carlson, Jr., his wife Jodi and their children, Kailey and Ethan of Snohomish, Wash. |
