Avis Mullennix
Avis Mullennix was born April 30, 1904 in Berryman, Missouri she passed away June 27, 1997 in Tacoma. She moved to Colorado at an early age where she attended school and in 1922 married Claude Mullennix. In the late 1930's they relocated to Tacoma, where she resided until her passing. Avis was a member of the First Christian Church and the Fern Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Claude and brother Jack Dougherty. Survivors include; two sisters, Elsie Ahlberg, Helen Weatherford, one brother, Purvis Dougherty, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside Services are Wed. July 2, 1997 3:30 PM in Mt. View Memorial Park. Visitation begins Tues. 12 Noon until 9 PM and Wed. until service time. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.
