Estelle Medearis
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008, in Fuiten Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home for Estelle Medearis, who died July 7 at age 93.
Estelle Evans was born Oct. 19, 1914, in Roscoe, Mo. She moved to Banks in 1938 and was a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Banks for 20 years. She was a member of Banks United Methodist Church for more than 50 years and a volunteer for Banks Cemetery Auxiliary for 50 years. In 1934, she married Elmer Medearis; he died in 1976.
Survivors include her daughters, Sue Ann Craft, Karen Durall and Elma Cowdrey; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
