Janet Neely McConahey Died peacefully on Bainbridge Is. Oct. 25, 2007. She was born Feb. 22, 1914 in Pittsburgh, PA, graduated from Peabody High School and married Theodore McConahey (deceased). They had one wonderful daughter (Janet Lindberg, deceased) and during WWII moved to the West Coast, settling in Tacoma. Jan worked as the supply manager for AFROTC at Univ. of Puget Sound and was involved in Children's Orthopedic. She is survived by her grandchildren Laura Griffin, Brian Griffin (in-law), Gregg Lindberg, great grandsons Joshua and Kyle Lindberg, honorary granddaughter Gail Miyahira and loving nieces. She will join her husband Ted at the Veteran's National Cemetery, Williamette, OR. in a private family service. Remembrances may be given to Annie Bucsko Guild c/o Children's Orthopedic Assoc.
