Paul E. Meade Sr.

Paul E. Meade Sr., 69, passed quickly on October 29,
2007, to meet his Savior. Paul was born to Charles and
Georgia Meade on January 17, 1938 in Corder, MO. He
was the fourth of eight children, they moved to Kansas
City, MO where Paul attended school. After serving in
the U.S. Air Force he returned to Kansas City until
moving to Washington State in 1972. A decision he
often referred to as one of the best he ever made. His
career was driving trucks. Paul loved his family and
people, all people. He enjoyed a good joke, making
people smile and was the life of every family
get-together. His hobbies included driving his John
Deere tractor, fishing and teasing his grandkids. Paul
will be missed more than we can say.
Preceding him death are his parents; his
parents-in-law, Warren and Linnea Olin; brother,
Kenneth; and sister, Susie Crawford.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Meade, of
Arlington, WA; sons, Jason (Dawn) Meade, of Arlington,
Jim (Matina) Meade, of Arlington, and Paul Meade Jr.,
of Maine; daughters, Paula (Gary) Farrant, of Ozawkie,
KS; siblings, Loise Beyer, of Kansas City, Danny Lee
(Betty) Meade, of Independence, MO, Manual (Esther)
Meade, of Parksville, MO, Wanda (Joe) Frye, of Kansas
City, and Larry (Lorraine) Meade, of Kansas City;
grandchildren, PJ, Paul III, Chelsea, Mikhail
Barancik, Linnea, Hadessah, Julianna, Josiah, and
Aaron; and many special nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday,
November 1, 2007, at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N.
MacLeod Ave., Arlington. A graveside service will be
held at 1 p.m., on Friday, November 2, 2007, in the
Cypress Lawn Cemetery, 1615 SE Everett Mall Way,
Everett, WA. A memorial service will be held at 1
p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2007, at Arlington
Assembly of God Church, 201 N Stillaguamish Ave.,
Arlington.
