Sallie McMullen Morasch A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, in Gateway Baptist Church for Sallie McMullen Morasch, who died Oct. 18 at age 83. Sallie McMullen was born May 25, 1924, in Tucson, Ariz., and moved to Portland as an infant. She graduated from Emanuel Hospital School of Nursing. She was in the Army Nurse Corps. She later graduated from Lewis & Clark College. She co-founded Morasch Meats in Portland with her husband. In 1947, she married Merlin. Survivors include her husband; sons, Mike, Steve, Doug and Alan; daughters, Melissa Morasch and Melody Minch; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
