| A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, in Lincoln Memorial Park for James J. Muldoon, who died Nov. 17 of complications of Alzheimer's disease at age 89. Mr. Muldoon was born June 26, 1911, in Philadelphia. He worked in the Portland shipyards during World War II as an inspector and foreman, and he was a welder for Oregon Iron Works before retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. A Boy Scout leader, he received the Scouts' Silver Beaver award in 1971. In 1977, he married Florence Evensen. |
| Survivors include his wife; sons, John and Dennis; stepsons, Arlan Evensen, Wayne Evensen and Clint Evensen; stepdaughter, Connie Skoglund; 10 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. |
| The family suggests remembrances to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are by Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes. |
