| LANGFORD, JoAnn (Age 75) Of Spokane, WA passed away April 8, 2007. Born April 21, 1931 in Long Beach, CA to Ralph and Caroline Baker. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband David; children Kevin (Debbie), Rita, Mary (Courtney) Brown, Katie (John) Solinsky, and Jill (Gary) Lempka; grandchildren, Annalisa (Jason), Sarah, Jacob, Chloe, Sophia, Bridget, Bailey, Joey, Blake, and three great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Marilyn, niece Julie (Mike), and nephew Scott (Jana, John, Matt); best friends Sue and Will Trautman (Michael, Craig), and so many more friends that she made throughout her life. She worked for Dr. Alan Mackay for over 20 years, retiring in 2002. JoAnn was talented in all types of crafts including painting, stained glass, sewing and quilting. But her greatest talent was entertaining and caring for her family. She had a special gift for making anyone who entered her life and home feel as though they were part of the family. Diagnosed with lung cancer in May of 2006, she never lost her cheerful disposition and love for life. Funeral Service and celebration of her life will be Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1503 W. Dean. Followed by a reception at Knights of Columbus, 302 E. Boone Ave. Her family would like to thank Hospice of Spokane for all of their support and encouragement.
