LEASE, Shirley Anne

Entered into rest peacefully at Sacred Heart Medical
Center on November 13, 2007 from a brain aneurysm. She
was born on January 13, 1932 in Bolckow, Missouri to
John and Neva Peters, the third of four children.
After several moves to follow her father's job with
Cummins, the family was transferred to Spokane where
Shirley graduated from West Valley High School in
1950. She started her bookkeeping career in banking,
then to a Caterpillar dealer, ending her career at
Kinetico where she was still working three days a
week. Our Mother enjoyed many self-taught hobbies
including, tole painting, stained glass, ceramics,
sewing, gardening and antiquing. She also loved
feeding the wild quail, mourning doves and
hummingbirds that would come to her backyard. Visits
from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were
her greatest joy. The family is saddened by the
untimely and unexpected passing. She is survived by
her daughters, Rayanne Sherwood (Lance) and Sue Brewer
(Mike); five grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by
her parents and brother Keith. No funeral is planned,
burial will be in Denver, Colorado. The family
suggests any donations can be made to the Providence
Neuroscience Center, SHMC, Attn: SHMC Foundation.
