| Paul O. Leslie died on November 27, 2005, at his home in Mukilteo, Washington. He was born on December 10, 1908, in Braymer, Missouri, where he received his education, graduating from high school in 1927. He came to Everett in 1928, to visit his sister, and never left. He worked as a barber for 43 years, many of those years at the Everett Elks Club, where he was an active member. He married Irene Nelson, in 1936, and they lived the rest of their lives in the same home in Mukilteo, where they loved to entertain. Paul served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and gardening - taking care of his yard until his death. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, December 2, at the Solie Funeral Home Chapel. A family committal will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Everett. |
