Elva Monroe Lagers

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, in Canby Funeral Chapel for Elva Monroe "Roe" Lagers. He died Aug. 13 at age 61.
Mr. Lagers was born Sept. 3, 1941, in Seneca, Mo. He served in the Army. He moved in 1963 to Gresham, and was a welder-foreman for Pierce Pacific Manufacturingfor the past 13 years. In 1965, he married Connie Cox.
Survivors include his wife; son, Todd; daughter, Angela Gates; brothers, Robert and Sammy; sisters, Ethel Lou Wilson, Shirley Smith, Lorita Hutchins, Margie Kelly, Maxine Hilliard, Pauline Sherer, Delores Harris and Ona Mae Jones; and 10 grandchildren.
