Vida Mae Lewis
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, in Sherwood Community Friends Church for Vida Mae Lewis, who died Nov. 11 at age 87.
Vida Mae Chatterton was born April 6, 1915, in Los Angeles. She moved to the Portland area in 1946, and lived in Sherwood and Newberg. She was a cook for Newberg Hospital and Friendsview Manor. In 1944, she married Elmer C.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Gary and Del; sister, Floris Lathorp; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
