VIRGINIA (GINNY) W. LYON
Virginia, born in St. Louis, MO on December 29, 1922, passed away in Tacoma on May 29, 2002. Ginny graced the world with her passions for knowledge, art, music, books, theater, and all animals, especially her Boxer dogs. She was an accomplished tole painter, avid gardener and a member of the Interlaaken Garden Club. A resident of Lakewood for 40 years, she is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Gerald C. Lyon; daughter Leslie of Fircrest; and son Christopher and his wife, Toni, of University Place. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 8th at Mountain View Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Humane Society. Ginny was deeply loved and will be in our hearts forever. Pub Date: 5/31/2002
