Ben Darrell LOFTIN

Born June 24, 1937 in Thornfield, Missouri. Passed away suddenly
April 21, 2001 in Ocean Park, Washington. Ben is survived by his wife
of 35 years Pat Loftin; daughter Stacey Loftin; son Scott (Natasha)
Loftin; grandson Nathan Loftin; mother Pauline Loftin; brother Steve
(Sue) Loftin and their sons Mark and Craig. Also other special relatives
including Tom and Mary Herche and their children, Katie and Charlie;
Tracy Matthews; Rick and Christine Wise and their children, Matthew,
Marion, and Andrea; Ronald and Elsa Wise and their sons Darren
(Elyn), Brian and Jeff. Ben graduated from Central Washington
University and received his Master's of Education from the University of
Washington. He was a teacher for 30 years. Ben began teaching in
Yakima and spent his last 27 years in the Bellevue School District.
After his retirement he continued his commitment to education and
children. For 27 years Ben also managed Fisher Scone Operations at
fair sites throughout Washington and Oregon during the summer
months. Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2001 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. A
Celebration of Ben's Life will be held Saturday, April 28, 2001 11 a.m.
at Sand Point Community United Methodist Church, 4710 N.E. 70th
St., Seattle. In lieu of flowers donations to Bellevue Schools Foundation
