Louisa Lopez
Louisa Lopez died May 3, 2001, at age 76. Mrs. Lopez was born Louisa Valenzuela on Feb. 15, 1925, in Phoenix, Ariz. She moved to Portland in 1968, and was a homemaker and a care giver in nursing homes in the Portland area for about 16 years, retiring in 1984. In 1941, she married Albert C. Lopez.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Mary Hobbs Williams, Rosa Tribble, Joanne Keating and Gertie Stover; son, Albert Jr.; sisters, Alice Pattini, Carmen Escoreno and Nellie Ulloa; brothers, Angel Valenzuela, Ernie Valenzuela and Alex Valenzuela; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.
Private service. Interment in Willamette National Cemetery. Remembrances to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements by Omega.
