Yvonne Marie 'Von' Kam A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2007, in Macy & Son in McMinnville for Yvonne Marie "Von" Kam, who died April 27 at age 64. Yvonne Blocher was born Sept. 24, 1942, in Berkeley, Calif. She graduated from the University of Oregon and moved to McMinnville in 1968. She was a sheep farmer, tax preparer, bookkeeper and fine-arts judge for many of Oregon's state and county fairs. She was also a 4-H leader for 20 years, as well as a musician who played piccolo and flute in several musical organizations. In 1964, she married Ron. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Wendy and Nancy; brothers, Thomas Blocher and Dan Blocher; sister, Molly McCarthy; and one grandchild. Remembrances to The Cancer Project.
