Louis Pittman Kacho

Peacefully returned to his Savior on March 1, 2005. Louis was born on
June 26, 1946, the first child of Louis Kacho and Gladys Purdue, in
McKeesport, PA. He spent most of his childhood and youth in New Orleans,
LA. After High School, Louis joined the Air Force and served honorably
for 24 years. His service included several job duties, but his favorite
was the 15 years as a Special Agent in the OSI. His Air Force travels
provided him the opportunity for what he considered his two greatest life
accomplishments - joining the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day-Saints, and marrying his eternal companion Patricia Ann Potts. In their 36
years of marriage on this earth, they moved every four years until
1985, when he retired from active duty in Tacoma. After his military
service, Louis became a Work Release Corrections Officer for the State of
Washington, where he worked tirelessly up to the final two weeks of his
life. He loved all things sports and recently got "hooked" trading
baseball cards on eBay. Louis is survived in faith and love by his wife,
Patricia Kacho of Spanaway; his son, Patrick Kacho of Tacoma; his
daughters, Stephanie Werner of Tacoma, Sheryl Kacho of Las Vegas, NV, Lynda
Kacho of Spanaway, Kimberley Bradford of Seattle, and Ramie Franklin of
Graham; his brothers, Mike Kacho of the Phillipines, Jay Kacho of Atlanta,
GA, his sister, Stacie Johnson of New Orleans, LA; 12 Grandchildren, as
well as extended family and hosts of friends. Funeral services will be
held on Friday, March 4th, 9:30 AM, at the LDS Chapel located at 8608
-176th St. E., Puyallup. Viewings will be held at Fir Lane Memorial Park
on 176th St. in Spanaway, on Thursday, March 3rd from 3 PM - 7 PM and
again on 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM, prior to the service at the church. A
private military internment will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery.
