Jerry Dee King
Jerry Dee King died Aug. 12, 2000, of cancer at age 57. No service will be held. Mr. King was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Clinton, Mo., and was raised in several areas of Washington. He served in the U.S. Army. He lived in Maui, Hawaii, before moving in 1993 to Tigard and was a printing press operator for Bonita Pioneer Packaging for the past seven years. In 1989, he married Sandra Mathews.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Lisa King, Alice Rogers and Christy Mathews; son, Jerry; sisters, Ramona Knolton, Marlene Dines and Kathy Shaw; brothers, Rick Overturf and Roy Shaw Jr.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Arrangements were by American Burial & Cremation Service.
