Tom Earl Kenner
Tom Kenner, 69, of Lake Connor Park, passed away May 17,
2001 at Providence Hospital.
He was born September 30, 1931 to Aubrey and Hester Kenner in
Thayer, MO. He spent 16 years in military service (Marines/Air
Force) where he earned the Purple Heart while serving in Korea.
For 10 years he was a Snohomish County Deputy Sheriff until he
retired in 1979. He then was a truck driver for Provisioners and a
part time bus driver for Community Transit.
His parents and his brother, Manford, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Geri; sisters, Rena (Mel) Engel of
Stevenson, WA, Mary (Ron) Mayer of Kona, HI, and Agnes
(Duane) Barnes of Depot Bay, OR; children, Deborah (Jay)
Morales of CA, Pam (Gary) Thomason, Mike Kenner, Tony
(Margie) Kenner, and Jeff (Kelly) Kenner of TX; 10 grandchildren;
step-children, Gayle (LeRoy) Barrows, Sue GeBauer, Wally
(Karen) GeBauer, DeNece Harvey, Jim (Jerilyn) Harvey, Sheri
Wolfe, Shirley Chester, Shawn (Darcie) Wolfe, Lisa (Darren) Sylte,
and Velvet (Mark) Janisch; 19 grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren. Tom will be missed by his numerous friends and
family.
A Memorial Service will be held May 18, 2001 at Lake Connor
Park Club House, 14320 28th N.E. (425-334-5055) in Lake
Stevens, WA at 1:00pm. Check in at gate. All friends are invited to
attend.
