Dolores Frances JAMES

Of Issaquah died on Thursday, April 27, 2006. At age
66 she fought strongly only to lose a one year battle
with breast cancer. Mrs. James was born December 30,
1939 in Erie, Pennsylvania, daughter of Frank and
Jeannette Janicki. She was the oldest of two daughters
and one brother, grew up and attended school in Erie.
A Washington state resident since 1979, moved from
Erie to be closer to her daughters, soon after she met
and married Larry James on March 27,1982. They met
working for Western Elevator. Dolores learned to make
beautiful porcelain dolls from the green-ware through
shoes and wigs. She earned a Grand Master Doll Artisan
degree was member of United Federated Doll Collectors
plus belonged to two local doll collector clubs. She
was very artistic winning several blue ribbons and
special awards at doll shows. Larry called her his
Classy Lady when they met and her humor enlightened
many people. She was a loving, generous, beautiful
wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She
was very supportive of all her family, bringing
everyone together. She was blessed with many caring
family members and friends, who all supported her
during her battle with cancer. Survivors include her
husband, Larry James; father, Frank Janicki of Erie,
Pennsylvania; sister, Frances of Fredonia, New York;
half-brother, Frank Janicki Jr. of Erie, Pennsylvania;
daughters, Cindy of North Bend, WA and Carol of
Issaquah; step-daughters/son, Dianna, Lauri and
Charles, seven grandchildren, Michael, Kate, Allison,
Monica, Cindy, Jessica and Christopher, three
great-grandchildren, Christopher Lee, Daniel and Kirk.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held
2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Flintoft's, 540
East Sunset Way, Issaquah, WA 98027. Please visit the
