Robert L. Jackson
A memorial Mass will be at noon Wednesday, June 8, 2005, in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (Madeleine Parish) for Robert L. Jackson, who died May 6, 2005, at age 77. Mr. Jackson was born March 22, 1928, in Collins, Mo., and was raised in Bend. He served in the Air Force for 20 years. He moved to Portland in 1958, and later lived in Germany, Long Island and Michigan before retiring to Portland in 1971. He later was a custodian for GTE. In 1957, he married Michaela G.M. Gawlik.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Iris L. Warden, Desiree M.L. Quint and Anita J. Gwinn; son, Dietmar F.S.; sisters, Pearl Coopman, Bernice Walker and Norma Neth; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements by National Cremation.
