Jane Rosser Painter JULIEN

Age 76, died of cancer in her home in Bellevue on Tuesday, December 11, 2001.
She was born January 31 1925, to Hazel Rosser and Russel Floyd Painter in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She lived with her parents in Carnegie, Pennsylvania,
then graduated from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1945.
After nursing there for two years she married James Herbert Julien. They started
their new life together by moving to Richland, Washington. There she bore two
sons and played the lead in several productions by the Richland Players. The
family moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in 1952 where she bore a daughter and a son,
worked some in nursing, and was active socially and in the Presbyterian Church
choir. The family moved to Bellevue 40 years ago, where she continued as a
loving wife, mother, and social, artistic, and culinary manager of the household.
She travelled with her mother and husband (especially loved Hawaii), was active
in the English-Speaking Union, was a sales clerk at Crystallia. and enjoyed
summer-time camping in the mountains. She is survived by her husband of 54
years, James Herbert Julien, her sons Robert David of Seattle and James Howard
& William Michael of Sammamish, and daughter Linda Jane Bricker of Shelton. A
Memorial Service will be held at Green's Bellevue Funeral Home Saturday,
December 15 at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be sent to the Humane Society, 13212
