Margie L. Jowers
Age 77, of Puyallup, died April 25, 2000. She was born August 16, 1922 in Vandalia, Missouri to Albert and Edna (Smith) Buchanan. She lived her early life in Missouri, moving to Puyallup in 1946. Mrs. Jowers worked at Wattenbergers Variety in Puyallup for many years and later at Elvins Department Store. She was a member of First Christian Church of Puyallup and Puyallup Eagles Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her husband, James Jowers, and brother, Donald Buchanan. She will be missed by her daughter, Sylvia and husband Fred Rousseau of Puyallup; son Ronald Yates of Tigard, OR; grandchildren Gary and Randy Buchanan, Bambi Martin and Troy Wilson; nine great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Monday, May 1, 2000 at Powers Funeral Home, Puyallup. Interment Fir Lane Memorial Park. Pub Date: 4/28/2000
