John Thomas Jones
A funeral Mass will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, in St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Oregon City for John Thomas Jones, who died Jan. 7 at age 75.
Mr. Jones was born Aug. 11, 1926, in Pittsburgh. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. He moved to Portland in 1959, and was a car salesman and manager for Gateway Chevrolet, then owned Jack Jones Motors and later Economy Homes, retiring in 2001. In 1951, he married Dolores Binder.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Susan, Patricia, Pamela and Sandra; son, Norman; brother, James; and four grandchildren.
