Alta Belle Johnston
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, in Holman-Hankins- Bowker & Waud Funeral Home for Alta Belle Johnston, who died Sept. 8 at age 89.
Alta Osborn was born July 26, 1913, in Roach, Mo. She moved in 1943 to Oregon City and in 1973 to Milwaukie. She was an administrative secretary for Safeway. In 1931, she married Forrest; he died in 1999.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara J. Ramsey; sisters, Ruth Blair and Goldie Duby; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.
