First SGT Robert Jackson "Gone on a long work day" First Sgt Robert Jackson, age 77, was born Jan. 3, 1918 in Ft. Achuca, AZ. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1966. He also retired from the Tacoma Smelter in 1977. Mr. Jackson passed away Feb. 8, 1995. He leaves to mourn his passing his daughters, Vicki R. Lacy, Dawn Jackson- Patterson; stepdaughter, Ateten Watkins; grandchildren and great- grandchildren; a former wife, Nana P. Jackson Watkins. Funeral services will be Mon. Feb. 13, 1995 at 6 p.m. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4818 Portland Ave. Viewing will be Mon. at 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the Morris-Bates Mortuary Chapel.
