| HERMISTON - Patricial Luella James, 81, of Hermiston, died Friday, March 23, 2001, at her home. |
| At her request there will be no funeral service. Disposition was by cremation. |
| Mrs. James was born Dec. 14, 1919, at St. Joseph, Mo., to Hugh and Ethel Johnson Berry. |
| On July 2, 1960, she married Gay James at Elko, Nev. The couple lived at Orofino, Idaho, and various Oregon cities while her husband worked construction. They came to Hermiston in 1976. |
| Mrs. James worked as a waitress in Hermiston for several years. |
| She enjoyed crocheting, needlework, reading, camping, fishing, hunting, and traveling. |
| Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Guy James of Hermiston; daughter, Dorothy Ward of Hermisotn; sister, Norma Sherrill of Boise, Idaho, seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Ethel Berry, son, Raymond #Butch# Shores, and brother, John Wesley #Wes# Berry. |
