Robert G. Jeffrey
Robert G. Jeffrey, 83, of Camano Island, died at his residence on
Camano Island. He was born June 23, 1918 in Washington, PA.
A retired Wildlife Biologist with the Washington Fish and Wildlife
Department, he worked on Dove and Duck Research. He had a
B.S. Degree in Zoology from the University of Washington, and a
M.S. Degree from Washington State University. Robert served as
a Navy Photographer in World War II in the Pacific.
Robert is survived by his wife Geraldine of Camano Island; three
children Janet Rafferty of Starkville, MS, Rob Jeffrey of Melbourne,
Australia, and Judy Brantley of Republic, WA; also three
grandchildren, David and Nicole Rafferty and Nathaniel Jeffrey.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 10,
2001 in the chapel of Gilbertson Funeral Home, Stanwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Padilla Bay
Foundation, P.O. box 1305, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
Arrangements under the direction of Gilbertson Funeral Home,
Stanwood.
