Robert Ezra Hancock
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006,
in the Farmington Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints, 5175 S.W. 209th Ave., Aloha, for
Robert Ezra Hancock, who died Sept. 30 at age 80.
Mr. Hancock was born Aug. 16, 1926, in Phoenix, Ariz.
He moved to Portland, then served in the Navy during
World War II in the Pacific. He graduated from
Portland State University and received a master's
degree. He taught for 30 years for Portland Public
Schools at Gregory Heights Middle School. He was a Boy
Scout scoutmaster and a camp director for several
camps, including Camp Baldwin. He married Clella Mae
Masters in 1949.
Survivors include his wife; son, Lester Wilson;
daughter, Renee Huskey; brother, Joseph; and seven
grandchildren.
