Lermania E. Haygood
A service will be at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, in Willamette National Cemetery for Lermania E. Haygood, who died Aug. 24 of diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at age 75.
Lermania E. Hiltenbrandt was born March 29, 1931, in St. Joseph, Mo. She moved to Portland in 1952, and was a duplex manager. In the late 1950s, she married Elmer D.; he died in 1974.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Haygood-Cole; sisters, Betty Schnell, Ann Chew, Colleen Plotner and Joyce Fitzgerald; brothers, Virgil Hiltenbrandt and Clifford Bennett; companion, Richard Jensen; and two grandchildren.
