Robert J. Hughes Jr. Robert J. Hughes Jr., age 51 of Everett passed away February 16, 2007. He was born November 21, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he resided until graduating from high school and enlisted in the US Marines. He served in the Vietnam War in the 1970's and later worked for Dunlap Towing and Barge for 20+ years. Robert was a member of IBU. He enjoyed his time at sea with his boat mate's. He also enjoyed computers, having a few beers with friends, lots of movies and just spending time at home with family and his dog "Brownie". Robert is survived by his long-time companion, Debra Hughes; three sons, Robert III, Jimmy and Johnny Hughes; step-children, Shannon and Chad Lielke; two grandchildren, Chad Micheal Lielke Mullins and Angel Marie Lielke; three brothers, Jimmy, Scott and Steven Hughes; and a sister, Diane Hughes. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Hughes Sr.; and step-son, Jack Micheal Lielke. Visitation will be Friday, February 23, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. # 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2007, at the Solie Funeral Home Chapel, 3301 Colby Avenue, Everett.
