James H. HEBERLING

A Farewell to a Precious Life on Earth James Homer
Heberling, ESQ., resident of South Shores Condominium,
apartment A-408 since its foundation and erection in
1974 and a native son of Pennsylvania, U.S.A., bade
farewell to all of us on Saturday, August 12th, 2006
from pulmonary complication, he was 87 years old.
James, a distinguished attorney at law and quite a
gentleman in his own rights, led an amazing, brilliant
career with Atomic Energy Commission and the Boeing
Company worldwide. He and his beloved wife of 20 years
travelled the world extensively combining business and
pleasure at the same time. James was a great
Philellin, (a great friend of the Hellens) very well
known and much loved in the Hellenic-Roman world and
beyond. He will definitely be missed and will always
be remembered by so many. His motto always was - "old
lawyers never fade away, they just lose their appeal"
and naturally of course he will have plenty of appeals
to argue and debate with the Divine Creator! He is
survived by his Hellenic-Roman wife, members of family
and relatives. A Memorial Service will be held for
James at Saint Nicholas Church in Glyfada, Attica,
Greece where the Heberling's exchanged their
matrimonial vows. _______________________________
EULOGY My darling James, you made it all so possible
for us both from the very first time we met in Athens,
Greece, two strangers feeling alone searching for soul
mates. By the Grace of God, we immediately joined our
lives in a 2 month liason - courtship - I proposed to
you exactly on the day of your birthday, 6th January
1987 and you accepted in bewilderment and amazement
vowing to take care of each other for better or for
worse till the end of time. We led a most amazing,
beautiful life - we were and still are blessed and
counting our blessings. You brought me with you to
your Oh! so beautiful country, America - a long
yearned dream of mine since I was a little girl back
in Africa where I was born. We travelled the world and
made numerous friends - our Ethos made us stand tall
with the mighty and humble with our fellow humble
people. My sweetheart James, your wish will be
respected and honored. You wish me to spray your
blessed ashes and revered in the Puget Sound, right
beneath our condo so that as you always kept reminding
me, that by every passing ocean wave, you will be
whispering to me, "Here is looking at you, kid!". And
your whispers will be coming from eternity so that I
never feel alone. My love, you already know that your
very precious memory is treasured and deeply locked in
my heart and soul. I am at peace because I know
already the Divine Almighty is safekeeping you in His
Glorious Kingdom.
