Stanley Francis Hughes
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, in Tualatin United Methodist Church for Stanley Francis Hughes, who died Sept. 11 at age 77.
Mr. Hughes was born Dec. 28, 1924, in Pottsville, Pa. He served in the Navy in World War II in the Mediterranean and the Pacific and continued through the Korean War. He moved to Tualatin in 1958 and was a medical electronic technologist for the Veterans Administration Hospital for 22 years. In 1954, he married Velma Pitsor; she died in 1990. In 1993, he married Roberta "Bobbie" Houston; they divorced.
Survivors include his daughters, Karen Muir and Lori Reeves; brother, Charles; and three grandchildren.
