| Lois HYMAN Lois M. Hyman, 73, of Bellevue, WA., formerly of Wilkes-Barre, PA., died Saturday in Providence Hospital, Southfield, Michigan. Born June 15, 1928 in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Abe and Eva Fainberg Mangel. She was preceded in death by her husband Allan L. Hyman in January 1998. She moved to Bellevue in the summer of 1998 to be near her son Robert of Sammamish and his family and her daughter Abby Kutner and her family in Burlington, CA. She actively became involved in her new community by volunteering at the Puget Sound Archives and the library of Temple B'nai Torah, where she was a member. An avid bridge player, she became a life Master with American Contract Bridge League. She will be sorely missed by her partners at the Eastside Bridge Center in Redmond as well as her friends at Brandeis Women. She is survived by Robert and his wife Jessie, Abby and her husband Keith and four grandchildren: Robert, Sarah, Rebecca and Brynn. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 19th in the library of Temple B'nai Torah, 15727 N.E. 4th St., Bellevue at 7 p.m. Remembrances in Lois' honor may be made to the League of Women Voters, the American Lupus Society.
