R. Franklin Hart
R. Franklin Hart died Aug. 16, 2001, at age 96. Mr. Hart was born March 2, 1905, in La Grange, Mo. He graduated from Washington State University and moved in the late 1930s to Portland. He was a salesman for E.R. Squibb & Sons, a pharmaceutical company, for more than 25 years, then a pharmacist for Seventh-day Adventist Hospital for 15 years, retiring in about the late 1970s. In 1930, he married Evelyn Holbrook.
Survivors include his wife; and daughter-in-law, Linda Roberts. His son Gary died in 1976.
