Lavona Maxine Hansford
Maxine Hansford, of Gold Bar, Washington, age 86, passed away October 29, 2008 at her home. She was born November 24, 1921 in Neosho, Missouri to parents, Luther and Viola Clements and moved to Monett, MO, in 1924.
Maxine married Ward Hansford on October 14, 1939 and moved from Monett in 1960 to Washington State. A 40 year resident of Gold Bar, she was an active member of Monroe Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ward, on October 29, 1989.
She is survived by son, Michael Hansford, of Snohomish WA; grandson, Michael Hansford Jr., of Temecula, CA, Scott Hansford, of Bothell, WA; great-grandson, Michael Hansford III, of Temecula; great-granddaughters, Wendy and Isabel Hansford, of Temecula and Summer and Dallas Hansford, of Bothell.
A celebration of her life will be held for family and friends at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 19, 2208, at Monroe Community Church, 23515 Old Owens Rd, Monroe, 98272.
