Gerald Victor Houston Gerald Victor Houston died April 9, 2008, at age 86. Gerald Victor Houston was born May 14, 1921, in New Castle, Pa. During World War II, he served in the Army in Europe and North Africa. He was a custodian for Los Angeles County. He moved to Portland in 2004. In 1954, he married Gladys Crawford; she died in 1998. Survivors include his daughters, Vickie Stait and Judy Harding; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Private service. Arrangements by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen.
