| Bertha Hazel Hamilton Bertha Hazel (Waggener) Hamilton, born June 18, 1901 in Kansas City, MO, died peacefully March 11, 1996 in Gig Harbor. Bertha loved music and was an accomplished pianist who studied at the University of Washington in 1919. She married E. Alexander Hamilton, her husband of 72 years. They lived in the Seattle area and retired in Southern California. Following last year's death of her husband and son, William D. Hamilton, she moved to Gig Harbor to be near her only surviving son, R. Keith Hamilton and his wife, Lois. She had two sons, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A beautiful, intelligent and loving mother and grandmother, she will long be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. At her request, no memorial services are scheduled.
