Gertrude W. Hall
Gertrude W. Hall died Sept. 1, 2000, at age 85. No service will be held. Mrs. Hall was born April 3, 1915, in Prescott, Ariz., and moved to Portland as a child. Her maiden name was Watson. She graduated from Grant High School and the University of Oregon. For more than 30 years, she was a secretary for Laurelhurst Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. In the early 1940s, she married Gordon Hall; he died in 1979.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Franke, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the Holladay Park Plaza Endowment Fund. Arrangements are by Omega Funeral & Cremation Service.
