| John C. GANN February 5, 1930 - August 14, 2006 Born and raised in Dallas County, Missouri, John C. Gann lived most of his adult life in Seattle, Washington. John passed away peacefully on August 14, 2006 from heart failure. Beloved son of Clyde and Eula Gann, he is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl and Elmer Ray Gann; sister, Zetta (Gann) Pearson; and son, Dennis Gann. He is survived by brother, Bob (Rhonda) Gann of Enumclaw, WA; and sister, Lucille (Gann) McNabb of Sumas, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He leaves three children; Carolyn Quiggins of Nashville, TN; Doug (Susan) Gann of Kirkland, WA; and Dave (Sophanny) Gann of Redmond, WA; eight grandchildren; Brooke, Sam, and Jack Quiggins; Jennifer, Brody, and Brian Gann; and Alex and Mia Gann. While in the Army, John served overseas in Japan and Korea. John enjoyed the outdoors, farming, traveling, collecting, genealogy, and was a member of the Gallopin Gertie Model A Ford Club of Tacoma. Military honors will be conducted at Tahoma National Cemetery, Tuesday, August 22, at 9:45 a.m. Memorial Services & Reception will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Edlin-Yahn & Covington Funeral Chapel.
