Philip Rajene Goerke
A gathering will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at shelter D in Pier Park for Philip R. Goerke, who died Aug. 26 at age 63.
Mr. Goerke was born Feb. 11, 1939, in St. Joseph, Mo., and moved to Gresham in 1958. He served in the Army and was a mechanic for several companies in Oregon and Washington, most recently for St. Helens Auto Center. In 1995, he married Carol Weisdorfer.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Ruth A. Baldo and Ricki J. Furlong; stepdaughter, Anne M. Vernon; brother, Glen Hendrix; and seven grandchildren.
