Laurence L. Grover

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, in Christ Episcopal Church in St. Helens for Laurence L. "Larry" Grover, who died Sept. 19 at age 84. Mr. Grover was born March 9, 1919, in Philadelphia. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He graduated from the University of Idaho and received a master's degree in counseling from Portland State University. He was a counselor at Scappoose High School. In 1943, he married Nelda Thomas.
Survivors include his wife; son, Ron; and daughters, Diane and Christine.
