Truman Finley Jr. died April 3, 2003, at age 75.
Mr. Finley was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Doe Run, Mo. In 1953, he moved to Portland, where he was a heavy-equipment operator for Schnitzer Steel and later a self- employed building contractor. In 1953, he married Edna Ruth Mabuce.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Debra L. Hanson; stepdaughters, Judith A. Nichols and Peggy S. Smith; stepsons, Larry C. Keel and Dennis R. Keel; brothers, Paul, Bill, Jack and Bobby; sisters, Mersalette Burke, Juanita Phiffer, Betty Hidy, Peggy Johnson and Bonnie Anderson; 10 grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. His son, Truman A. Finley, died in 1994.
