| Rose E. FERRIS Of Seattle, WA, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2003. She was born Nov. 12, 1913 in San Francisco, CA. In 1932 she married Dante Relei, who passed away in 1975, and resided with him in San Francisco, where she was an avid homemaker. After remarrying in 1977, she moved with her husband, Ed Ferris, to the coast of California, and, later, to Oregon, where, with him, she farmed blueberries and enjoyed growing her own produce. She was an enthusiastic cook and a talented artist, a generous hostess who loved to entertain. After moving to Ida Culver, Broadview, in 1998, she did the cover designs for the monthly bulletin there. Rose is survived by her children, Daniel E. Relei of Seattle, WA, and Carolyn C. Relei, of Valley Springs, CA, by brothers, Mario Chiapparelli, of Orangevale, CA, and John Chiapparelli, of Millbrae, CA, and by her sister, Julia Wolters, of San Diego, CA, and by 10 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, March 16, 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N. Seattle. Burial services will be held near San Francisco, Friday, March 21, at Cypress Lawn Cemetery, Colma, CA. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to charity of choice.
