Doris L. Foster
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, in Newberg First United Methodist Church for Doris L. Foster, who died Oct. 11 at age 93.
Doris L. Osborn was born March 23, 1912, in Summit, Pa. She graduated from Edinboro State College and moved in 1948 to Garibaldi. She received a master's degree from Oregon College of Education and was an elementary school teacher for 25 years in Garibaldi and Coos Bay. She moved to Newberg in 1992. In 1942, she married Elvin L.; he died in 1991.
Survivors include her sons, Allen and Daryl; daughter, Darlene; brothers, Wilbur Osborn and Bob Osborn; sister, Margaret Tryzbiak; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
