William L. Frambes CMSGT, USAF, RET. William L. Frambes, 80 years of age, died Oct. 4, 1999. He was born in PA, and resided in Pierce County the past 40 years. During WWII, Bill served in the Army Air Corps. In 1965 he retired with twenty-six years of devoted service from the U.S. Air Force. Bill was very active following his military career. He was multi-faceted and possessed an entrepreneurial spirit. He was a partner in Tyee Land Development and an associate with the Severeid Insurance Agency. He was a member of Tacoma Elks Lodge #174 BPOE, as well as a Tall Elk. He was also a Toastmaster and was involved in local Democratic party politics and Jr. Achievement. He is survived by Alberta, his beloved wife, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services with full Military Honors will be Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999 at 1:00pm in the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
