James Warren Ferris
Born in Philadelphia, November 3, 1935. Died April 22, 2001. He is survived by wife, Ruth Ferris; children, Cynthia Burt and Christopher Ferris; grandchildren, Alex, Madeleine, Andrew and Grace Burt; mother, Elizabeth Ferris; brothers, George I. Ferris, Jr. and Richard Ferris. He graduated from Wheaton College and Seattle University. He worked for Safeco thirty-five years, retiring in 1997. He was an active participant in Christ Episcopal Church, where he was treasurer and choir member, and in The Seattle Choral Company, where he was on their board. The family requests that memorials be sent to one of those organizations or to the Blood Bank in lieu of flowers. His memorial service will be Saturday, April 28, one o'clock, at Christ Episcopal Church, 4548 Brooklyn Avenue NE, Seattle. Pub Date: 4/25/2001
